Still isn't very jazzy...

This isn't jazz, you need a lot of complicated, fast tunes for jazz, and maybe a saxophone soundfont off the internet, because that's what jazz sounds like, I suggest listening to more jazz and learning what jazz really is, because this isn't jazz, it's classical. Well, it's too late now.

demoninabottle responds:

okay.

Allright, okay, nice.

A bit more sructured and patterned than your original music, but, like you said, it's just a remix so you didn't really create it. Maybe if you look at some sheet-music and MIDIs, you can look at note structure and kinda learn by observation. Then you'll be able to create non-remix work that sounds as good or better than this.

demoninabottle responds:

okay. Yeah, we're playing this song in band, so I actually made this from memory.

Okay...

You used one of the acid arps, so I'm confused as to why this didn't go into acid. Well, you've improved a lot since your first non-Demon's Drum Riffs, and you're only going to get better. I suggest checking out some of my new songs or some of Redslash's work, and maybe picking up the Matrix soundtrack and listening to some Juno Reactor stuff. You can get ideas from that.

demoninabottle responds:

oh, I didn't know what acid is.

Quiet down the electric!

The acoustic nylon string guitar was good, pretty chaotic, but the electric guitar was too harsh. This wouldn't have mattered much if the electric guitar had formed most of the song, but you know you can use the knobs right next to the channel to adjust panning and, more importantly, volume.
Good luck with your next loop!

demoninabottle responds:

yeah, I hate this one. Don't know why I made it.

Coincidence?

One of my first few songs was called "Darkened Caverns." coincidence? Yes. I had no idea that you existed until today. This is good!

Too short.

But it was good. You might want to use a different guitar, so look in the Styrus section.

demoninabottle responds:

okay, styrus guitar it is.

Sounds gangsta...I hate gangsta.

It really was "tight", though.

demoninabottle responds:

nothin's wrong with gangsta!

Nice riff!

A bit too heavy metal-ish, unless that's what you were going for, and I recognized that guitar as one in the packs. Please, please, use the guitars in the styrus, the Inferno guitar is the best.

demoninabottle responds:

well, thanks for the review. Yeah, heavy metal was my intention, cause people of ng seem to warm up to heavy metal more than anything.

Good, but...

If only it hadn't slowed down and had that loud, out-of-place sound at the end.

demoninabottle responds:

yeah, that was good before the end, wasn't it. I just didn't know how to loop it.

Good for a long song...

The back beats had some cool stuff, but a lot of other stuff, like the orchestra hits, had not much variety an got boring and repetitive after a while. Maybe if you used several different patterns that were all radically different to each other and uniue, it would give the song variety and more of a "personality" instead of just being pretty monochromatic.

demoninabottle responds:

Thanx for the review. Btw, check out my new flashes. I got two of em.
