Getting Better!

This was good, but it still could use some improvement. Try making it way faster, use more instruments, like different kinds of basses and beats, and have, like, one repeating patterns and then with other patterns joining in at certain times, also, a climax and buildup would be good, but not necessary.

demoninabottle responds:

Wow, man, this is cool to be getting sixes from you! Dude, your like a mentor. To think without your reviews I'd still be makin' those sucky Drum Rifs.

Get an electric guitar!

Star Wars was not meant to be tainted by a single acoustic guitar! I LOVE Star Wars. More than most people. I regularly check theforce.net to see if Chris hanel's updated the humor section yet. But this theme was RUINED, yes, RUINED by the acoustic guitar. A single guitar cannot successfully tribute this song. You need several, some acoustic, mostly electric, to perform the different sections like the brass, wind, strings, etc. Also, you hit some notes wrong and added to the ruination of Star Wars.

Hey!

The "Lightsaber Turn On" sound is copyrighted to Ben Burtt! Anyways, people can find much better sound effects by downloading the zip file of video game sfx off of theforce.net, which is probably the site you got this from. Don't steal from Ben Burtt ever again.

Better...

I must say, your music is really starting to develop. However, there's still the issue of length. You must not know how to use the piano roll, right? With the piano roll in Fruity Loops, you can make your songs much longer. After you import an instrument to a channel, right-click on the instrument button(it's big and has the name of the instrument on it, you can't miss it) and select "Piano roll." Then you can just put in the notes(it works VERY similar to a musical staff) and make a song! You'll be making better, longer music!

demoninabottle responds:

damn, thanks man, I'll check it out.

I recognized the instruments!

You use Fruity Loops!
Now, some criticism.
The intro, I love the intro, the oooooOOOOooOOOooooooooooOOOOoooooOOOO...aaaAAAAAAAAh, aaAAAAaaaaOOOOOOh...
But Fruity Loop's choir seriously SUX! Try not to use it. And the intro...WAY too long. It shouldn't take so long to get to the good stuff!
But when it did get to the main part, it was AWESOME! I loved the whole thing, it really took a lot from my fave game, Halo2! I even have the OST of Halo2...but that's another story.

To make a long review short, this song's awesomeness made up for its shortcomings and skyrocketed the ratings into the straight-tens!

Now you have to review my songs too ;)

BotonyProduktions responds:

Thank you. Like I said, I have like 3 or 4 more Halo songs coming. I love the way u use ur big word like that. Makes me feel that I have done something right for once. :D

Here's a helpful tip:

Make better music.

demoninabottle responds:

write better reviews.

Meh.

WinterWind was right. Your band does not do the original song justice, and all his complaints were accurate, and you just say that he's just making all that stuff up? That's like going up to a scientist who's telling you about quantum theory and telling him that he just made all that shit up.
WinterWind said that you didn't make it because
1. You didn't perform it unless you are in the orchestra and
2. You did not compose the music or at least try some form of "editing" to give it a more unique feel(that's what I always try to do with my VG remixes).
I cannot believe that you are indecent enough to tell a person who is right on every count that they are wrong, in a miserable effort to save your pathetic skin! You sicken me.

orb responds:

Hey, idiot. I AM in the orchestra. But I suppose you'll claim you didn't make up that I wasn't, won't you? I sicken you? Well, I'm glad the feeling is mutual.

Awesome!

This was very good, moody, etc. It sounded a bit like "Battle for the Future" from Dark Cloud 2 at first. THAT only ADDS points to your score!:)

MilkMan-Dan responds:

WEEE... never heard that before... deffinitley look into that. Thanks for the review :).

Good.

Wow. Never heard anything quite like this. Sounds a little like those wierd tunes from old sci-fi movies, you know, the ones that go OOOOOOoooOOOooooOOOOOOOOoOOOoooooOOOoooOOoOOoooOOO?
Yeah.
Peace out!

JohnFloyd responds:

At the time I was just going for creepy and mysterious, but yeah, I can live with OOOOooOOOooOOO. Thanks for the comments!

Cool.

That clapping made it feel a bit like the music used for Madness Apotheosis, though.
