Awesome.

Way better than I could do! This sounds on par with some of the songs that come with FL(you are using FL, right?)!
I don't really have much to say since I've never been much of an audio critic, but this is awesome.

Father-of-Death responds:

thnx dude!!!

yes i use FL

Wow.

Running out of praises, and lacking the classical knowhow to point out mistakes, I must declare this song perfect and sign you to a major record label. Have fun on your world tour!

DavidOrr responds:

Where do I sign?

Nice.

It's incredibly well-done--the clarity, composition, and--well--everything--is top-notch. You ought to be composing for the next Hollywood blockbuster. It's just that awesome. I hope that someday I'll be as good as you. I'm running out of praises.

DavidOrr responds:

I hope someday I do get a chance to write the soundtrack to a big movie!

Thanks for the support!

I like it.

It's pretty nice. Easy to listen to, a bit ambient, I like it. The pail sound effect was a nice touch, and I liked the background seashore effect. And it loops perfectly. I like that too. Check out some of my newer stuff, you might like it.

demoninabottle responds:

totally. Nice to hear from u again. Anyways, I'll be sure ta

All right...

Not too bad. Sometimes the themes would kind of get lost in the arps you used, and that was the only real problem.

EchozAurora responds:

Thanks for the review, I realized later that I had forgot to add in a compressor and remaster the tracks, so that would contribute to that problem.

Whoa.

I could criticize this piece, but it's too perfect, so I guess I'm just writing this review to say how much I loved it. I don't know why, but pianos in trance/techno/electronic/industrial songs always sound good to me, so you can bet that I loved most of this song. I also think that industrial drums are awesome. I have a soundfont for them, but I've never been able to use them, due to my lack of skill with drumkits. To make a long story short, I love this song.

DavidOrr responds:

I agree with the piano remark 100%. I love hearing pianos and strings in electronic music a lot. They just seem to work so perfectly together.

The drums were essentially a standard kit, but with really heavy distortion, compression, and some noise added to them. You don't need an industrial drum soundfont to get an industrial sound!

Thanks for the review :)

I am speechless.

I haven't heard epic classical done this well since Edgen' stuff! Wonderful. Personally, I think this song has a bit more diversity than Edgen's latest submission. Edgen's was all brass, with the strings more in the background as backup. But here, the strings are a lot more integral.

I can see some similarities to POTC here, but, with a title like "Stormy Seas," it's really hard not to have a pirate-sounding theme.

I like the use of bells and chromatic percussion on the slow parts. It adds a tiny bit more atmosphere to the song.

This sounds very professionally-done, and I can imagine it in the next blockbuster adventure movie.

You deserve more platinum tracks, orchestral music is so underrated here.

PS. Sorry if I sound a little like a classical music newb. Everything I learned about classical music I learned from listening nonstop to soundtrack music.

DavidOrr responds:

Wow! I'm speechless!

It always makes me smile to see a review like this. It's a very rewarding feeling. I am currently writing more music such as this, along with more lyrical music. My website has another short orchestral piece right now, so if you like what you hear maybe you should go take a look :).

Thanks for the support man!

It's okay.

It's very muffled, though. Nice idea, but fix the sound quality.

newskies responds:

Yeah, I know the quality is not the best but thank you very much for the review!

Neat.

I'm reviewing it as I listen. It's incredible. The sounds are clean and clear. It's very professional sounding, and I'm sure it sounds awesome in a live concert, with real instruments.

Maybe you get this question a lot, but what program/plugins are you using?

Klace responds:

Thanks for the Review, and hope you rated it!
I use
East West Gold Orchestra, and Gold Orchestra Pro XP, East West Symphonic Choirs, and FL Studio 6, That's about it!

Whoa.

I did this song too, but your rendition has far more quality.

LightOtaku responds:

Thank you.
