Cool!

I also use RMXP, so I recognize the tune very much. It was good, but I think that the some of it was a bit too stuttery, especially the strings. Also, I think that the instruments started and stopped a bit too sharply. Still, they're high-quality samples.

Personally, I've tried doing something like this, I ran the Theme01(my favorite preset song in the whole damn program) midi through EDIROL and it sounded godly(didn't want to submit it, though).

Nice!

It's great, but too echoey. And the quality could have been a bit better. Still good, though.

Neat.

I'm reviewing it as I listen. It's incredible. The sounds are clean and clear. It's very professional sounding, and I'm sure it sounds awesome in a live concert, with real instruments.

Maybe you get this question a lot, but what program/plugins are you using?

Klace responds:

Thanks for the Review, and hope you rated it!
I use
East West Gold Orchestra, and Gold Orchestra Pro XP, East West Symphonic Choirs, and FL Studio 6, That's about it!

Whoa.

I did this song too, but your rendition has far more quality.

LightOtaku responds:

Thank you.

Hm...

You know, this song isn't evil enough to be named after Rasputen.

Now that that's out of the way, this isn't that bad of a song. Though it still shouldn't be categorized in the Jazz section...this is more ambient or videogame(it kind of reminds me of some of the background music from Ratchet & Clank).

demoninabottle responds:

thanks for the review..... nice to see you again, check out my carribean thing

Awesomeness.

I heard you say that this music is a "soundtrack" of sorts to your novel. Back off! It's my lifelong dream to be the first person to create a soundtrack for a novel. GAAAAAAHHHH!!!!!!

Ah, nevermind.

Well, this track is superb. I love the military percussion and epic strings. They're so cool! Epic strings rock, and I love using them, too. And then, with the choir, though there aren't any words, the notes have been put together with just the right spaces in between that my mind is subconsciously putting in syllables!!!!! Or maybe I've just been listening to too much LOTR soundtrack. This whole song is kinda like an LOTR song, except with the brass replaced with more strings. Not that that's a bad thing...

You're a f***ing awesome composer.

Arbiter responds:

Thanks for all your kind words, believe me, I read everything you guys write.
And I love getting the feedback.

Anyways, I don't see myself using many traits from the Lotr Soundtrack, as Howard Shore really isn't one of my influences.
But thanks anyways :)

You are one awesome composer!

Man, this is my kind of music. I love the military beat at the beginning and the(I can't really describe them) "breathy" staccato strings. Then the song turns completely different with the tinkle-bell and odd flute-y instrument(yeah, I don't know my musical terms). And, when we return to the militaristic part, you have, OMFG, a CHOIR!

OMFG!!!!!!!!!!!!!w00t! OMGOMGOMG!!!!

Sorry about that last part. I got carried away.

More great work!

The pizzicato strings, lively percussion, and frantic high strings, among other things, really add to make a truly atmospheric track that, as one reviewer said, brings back memories of classic Tom & Jerry cartoons.

Another fantastic job! Keep these gems coming!

Flippin' sweet!

I really like this song. The oboe and brass themes with the rolling timpani give it the "military anthem" feel, while the plucked strings and high-pitched xylophone-ish percussion reflect its more humorous style.

So, are you using EDIROL? I have it, but I haven't submitted anything with it, I can't do good enough with it yet. I can do percussion adequately, but I can't get a good melody without the use of a keyboard.

Arbiter responds:

I'm using Edirol among other things, and that's until I get East West gold.
I recently had to cancel my order for various reasons, but I'll get it.

WOW!

What program/vst/soundfonts are you using, man?
